Each Kindred Bravely piece is thoughtfully designed and features small - but important - details to make motherhood easier. Our Roots It all began when Deeanne, our co-founder/CEO, was nursing her one-year-old and couldn’t find a comfortable and cute pair of pajamas. She decided to design her own – a simple idea that became something extraordinary. Our Mission We have two goals: creating maternity and nursing clothes that are beautiful, useful, and comfortable, and building a community of moms. Our Name As moms, we have to stick together, which is where “Kindred” comes from. And “Bravely”? Well, being a mom can be tough. It’s not for the faint of heart. It takes courage—bravery—to be a mom. Maternity Bras In the course of pregnancy, your breasts may grow by 1-2 (or more!) cup sizes, and our bras are designed to grow with you. Nursing Bras Choose from several styles, including incredibly soft and simple crossover sleep bras, everyday seamless bras with clip down cups, as well as supportive, breathable nursing sports bras. Pumping Bras Our Sublime Hands-Free Pumping & Nursing Bras are a must-have! These bras feature a pumping layer and nursing access, so you don’t have to change your clothes or your bra whether you are pumping or breastfeeding. Next page
I am currently 36 weeks pregnant. My measurements were full bust 39.5" and under bust 33". I ordered the medium regular, and it was definitely too tight! I feel like it's too tight everywhere, not just the cups (probably should've ordered the medium busty but it wasn't available in the color I wanted). I might try a large regular next? But since I'll probably get bigger postpartum when milk comes in, I might just wait until I can measure at that point. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if I would like this bra or not, but overall I do enjoy the fit. Easy pull side access for feeding, and gives a little support to your girls. Size Medium fit me well. I'm about a 34D/DD.First, I will say I am NOT a nursing mother. I am a 54 yo looking for a comfy lounging/sleeping bralette to offer minimal support. I am a 38DD in regular bras and usually an XL in bralettes and wear a L in most tops. I have a broad back and ribcage. I ordered this bralette in the XL busty. This bra was super soft and the fabric seemed very good quality. The cups were plenty roomy with no restriction. The back had nice coverage and the length was good for me. Where it failed for me is the band was too tight. (Again, I am broad in this area and tend to have this issue with bralettes.). I am very disappointed, but it’s no fault of the bra itself or the brand. It’s just my weird body shape! I may try a bigger size, but fear then it will be too big in the cups. (Maybe bigger size, but not busty??). So if you can figure out your size, I would not hesitate to buy this bra!I’m 25 weeks pregnant with my second child. I bought this in black for my first child and loved it so much I bought a second. The fit is a little off for me. There are two styles, regular and busty. I’m usually a 32B (before pregnancy). The medium in the regular fits my cup size but is too tight around. The medium in the busty fits around but is huge in the cups. I just can’t seem to get the right fit. I ended up keeping the busty in medium because I know when my milk comes in I’ll use some of the extra cup space.I was a 34C in VS pre-pregnancy. I am at 21/22 weeks and measured 35 around the band, 40 around the breasts.I started with the Large regular (x1). The band felt loose, and I was very worried about it stretching as the reviews seemed to imply that it would do. (It is a very soft, very comfortable material, and I adored the idea of keeping it, but the thickness of the material lead to believe the claims.) I was happy with the cup sizing. It somewhat supported me now, enough for my intended use anyway (night-time bra), and seemed like it had room to grow while offering me full coverage.Next, I ordered and tried a Medium Regular. I liked the band size, but the cups felt like they were too small. My nipple was near enough to the edge of the material for me to worry about when my milk comes in and if there would be enough material to contain and cover my breast. So then, I ordered and tried a Medium Busty (x2 because of a promo and at the time I was sure this was going to be the winner). The cups were probably a little better on the large-regular, but the medium-busty generally looks appropriate and I felt like I would have plenty of coverage. The band however is SUPER TIGHT! I was accidently falling asleep in the afternoon with the bra on (I was thinking maybe it would just take a little while to stretch out), and it was so tight that the discomfort kept me awake and forced me to get up to change out of it.I was rather confused about how the medium-regular band felt good while the medium busty was so tight. So next, I reached out to Kindred Bravely, writing pretty much what I described above. Their reply was that this style seemed like it was not the right match, and to try out the Simply Sublime Bra.(I have not done so, because I was looking for a night-time bra and I have concerns about the back clasp being uncomfortable while sleeping on my back.)I am breastfeeding and trying to do as much skin to skin as possible which means I live in this bra and a bathrobe. I’m not a fan of clips and hassle so this bra is perfect as I just pull it down and feed. It’s also super duper comfortable. There’s not any support or lift so in a shirt I feel like I look sort of dumpy but just in a bathrobe it looks pretty sexy. I’m5’2” 170 lbs post party and a size DDD. I ordered the large and it fitsComfortable to sleep in and lounge in. If you’re debating what size to get, I would size up. Mine is just a little tighter than I would like but it’s super comfortable.Very comfortable. Easily my favorite nursing bra!Oh my, I was really looking forward to a well reviewed, comfortable sleep / comfort wear bra - it's not this one! The material is very soft so first impression when opening it was great. I followed the sizing guide and ordered a Large as I was between two sizes (L / XL). I've worn it twice, the back band rides up across my shoulders as it is much too loose and gives with body heat / wear and washing, the cups are too small and I wake up with all kinds of 'escapee' action and misplaced fabric imprints! It really should be made clear that the bra does not accommodate any cup past a 'C' (even though I think they would 'fall out' too...) Considering it is marketed as a maternity wear, I shudder to think how uncomfortable full breasts of milk would be in this very light, very soft, tiny cupped item. Maybe better marketed as a training sleep bra. Very disappointed :-(The material is soft on the skin and very absorbent. This keeps you cool at night. The underbust band is wide which makes it very comfortable and does not dig into the skin. The elastic can bend a little but this is easily put back into shape. The bra washes well and doesn't lose its shape or bobble. If you have a larger bust, you can fall out a bit depending on which size you buy and how much you move during sleep. I bought size medium being a pre-pregnancy size 32G and would consider a size bigger. I would recommend this productBought to wear at night as breastfeeding through the night.Too small in the cup, even in a busty size. Very little support. Doesn’t contain breasts well due to the crossover design - this is to allow for breastfeeding, but any movement caused one side to pop out - not ideal. Straps also not adjustable and therefore too long for me. Sad because the fabric is lovely and soft and would have been nice as a sleep bra.I intended to use this as my night time nursing bra when baby was born but it turned out to be my day time into night nursing bra, because it was so comfortable. The racer back is a welcome change from straps and really feels good and supportive of the back as well as breasts. You aren't going to have massive uplifting shapely support of your breasts with this bra, but to be honest I just wanted to be comfortable post birth and feed my baby, so I ordered another so I can wash one and wear one.I have large breasts and wasn't expecting this to be as supportive as it turned out to be. Would be comfortable wearing it out and about as well as at night! I love the no fuss opening for feeding. Thoroughly recommend.I am not breastfeeding but love this bra. I am quite heavy breasted and at weekend don't want to wear my usual support bras. This is perfect. So soft. Moderate support. I now have four of these. If you are quite big, go for the busty size
