Like another reviewer mentioned, these shorts have about 1.5 inch slits on each side of the shorts. I wish the pictures and description were more accurate about that, I would have preferred a pair with no slits since I wanted knee length shorts for a reason. Overall the fit was good, the elastic belly doesn’t ride up too high (I’m not too big yet and other pairs I own come up to my bra line), and the jean material is sturdy but isn’t uncomfortable or stiff. Thank goodness for maternity shorts for my summer pregnancy.I have looked a lot for long maternity shorts and i think this one perfect ! its comfortable and looks goodThe belly stretch band is a bit short but still works. For someone who wears a size 20 pants over my belly this was a great fit.I have never been one to buy maternity clothes but my third pregnancy has me feeling bluh and leggings and stretchy shorts are getting too plain so I thought I’d try these out. I’m glad I did because they are super comfortable! I don’t have any zippers digging in my belly or sides digging in my hips and will definitely be purchasing another pair! I sized up to 2x just because I know I’ll be growing and definitely have some room but they still fit nicely! Get them!These shorts fit perfectly and are really nice quality! I only gave it 4 stars because they came with some chocolate (at least I hope it's chocolate...) on them. But a cycle in the wash will take care of that :)I am between medium and large depending on brands. I purchased the medium and could not even get them past my thighs. Fit more like a small. I am 5' 6 and was about 175 lb at time of purchase.I like these. The fit is great and I ordered two colors, but I took off a star because the shorts are actually slightly different than how they are pictured on the model. They have a slit on the outside of the knee. Not the end of the world, just unexpected. The dark wash I ordered also had a brown stitching that didn’t really stand out, and it wasn’t as dark as I expected. On the model, the dark wash looks like it has white stitching, and I loved the contrast so I was a little disappointed.Details on the fit, I’m typically size 6-8 on pants (even pre pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy.) I first ordered medium sized shorts, and it was hilarious how baggy they were. The folded over themselves in the worst spots. So I returned and got small and it fits so much better. Weirdly enough, this green pair fits better than my dark wash, but not my too much. Dark wash was just a little tighter in size small.I’m keeping these because I still like them and imagine being comfortable in them to the end of pregnancy. Also, it’s been extremely difficult to find shorts like these and I can’t find another option.A note on the price: I just found some of the same colors and branding and model pics and everything on Walmart’s website. They were 19.99. Maybe you can save a couple dollars by heading there if you need.I love these shorts! Read a lot of reviews that said to size up, and I was skeptical, but I did. I would normally wear a size small for maternity clothes but I got a medium for these shorts and they fit great! The band is halfway up my belly, not too tight but fits great so they aren’t falling down either. If you are thinking about buying these, I would definitely say size up because I don’t think I could wear a small in these shorts comfortably!I love the fit of these, they are so comfy. But the smell is horrible, I washed them, I have just let them air out and I can't get rid of the smell.
