The color of this dress is a gorgeous mauve. It's not pink at all, which I'm thankful for as it doesn't disappear on my very white skin. I put on this dress, and my husband said, "Now THAT'S the dress". It fits lovely, and I'm a bigger woman. I ordered an XL and am 5'4" and 191 pounds at 6 months pregnant, just to help with sizing. My weight goes into my stomach and face, but I think if I had thicker thighs and rear, the dress wouldn't fit as well. It's definitely not for women who wear bigger than a size 16. It is a nice fit, but it doesn't have a ton of growing room in it. The dress is soft and comfy, and I'm very much looking forward to wearing it to my baby shower. I highly recommend a flowered sash as the one on it flips up under my breasts. The flowered sash I got off Amazon covers that just fine. Baby blue and tan would look fantastic on this mauve color if you're having a boy. I'm having a girl and went for a more subdued pink sash that I like.
